Bonnie P. Humphrey is in private practice with an office in Minot, North Dakota, but takes cases throughout the state and in Minnesota. She is licensed in North Dakota, federal district court in North Dakota, and in Minnesota. She developed her unique style of hands-on practice over many years of exploring what worked best for clients overall, what gave them the best understanding of the legal system, and what solutions actually worked over the long haul, as opposed to a “quick-fix” method.
Bonnie is a former child support attorney who was awarded the “Outstanding Individual” Award at the Family Support conference in 1997. She has also served North Dakota as a legal aid attorney, which developed and rounded her skills and background in areas involving family matters, public benefits for clients, social security disability, and services to seniors. She was the past President of the Family Law Section for 2010, and a current member. Bonnie is a member and past Secretary for the Ward County Bar Association, a current member of the American Bar Association, the American Bar Association Family Law Section, the State Bar Association of North Dakota, and the Minnesota Bar Association, since 1992. She is also a member of the Solo and Small Firm Practice Section in Minnesota.
